Jacob grew up in Northern California before moving to New Orleans, where he received his Master of Architecture from Tulane University. Since graduating, he has split time between New Orleans and New York working for firms in both cities. Jacob has worked on a number of major projects domestically and abroad, some of the most notable include the $550 million dollar renovation of the New Orleans Ernest Morial Convention center, and an award-winning exhibition for the 2021 Venice Bienalle of Architecture. As a designer, Jacob likes to explore how to better incorporate sustainable design strategies into local vernaculars.
