Tyler first joined Sharon Davis Design in 2011 where he worked on projects in Garrison and participated in community engagement in Rwinkwavu, Rwanda. In 2014 he joined SHoP Architects’ Africa team and relocated to Gaborone, Botswana to assist coordination of the Botswana Innovation Hub, a $65 million USD green building currently under construction for Botswana’s Ministry of Tertiary Education, Research, Science and Technology. In 2017 he returned to Sharon Davis Design to manage a project in Montana and institutional work in sub-Saharan Africa. Tyler earned a Master of Architecture degree from Yale University in 2011 and a Bachelor of Arts in Architecture from Washington University in St. Louis in 2006. His essays exploring alternative architectural narratives have appeared in Project Journal, ArchDaily, Horizonte, and Log. Tyler is a registered architect in the state of New York.
