Sharon Davis Design is delighted to announce that its project for the World Architecture Festival has been shortlisted for competition. We submitted our project in Rwanda, a Women for Women International Womens Opportunity Center, under the category of Education. The Womens Opportunity Center will offer women both a permanent haven for gathering, and classrooms for learning new job training skills, including the craft of brick making. Our innovative design incorporates corrugated metal roofs for harvesting rainwater, biodiesel fuel for heating, and composting to promote sustainable and integrated farming techniques.
